Abstract
The Stephn P. Grogan papers is comprised of Grogan's personal papers (approximately 1960 to 2020) that primarily document his career working in the gaming industry in Colorado and Las Vegas, Nevada. The collection documents Grogan's involvement with Vegas Pacific business partnership, Skilleo Games, Action Gaming, and EWM Investments. The collection also includes papers documenting Grogan's business ventures in Colorado as well as his writing career. Included in this collection are drafts of Grogan's novels and plays.

Biographical / Historical Note
Stephen P. Grogan started his professional career in Denver, Colorado where he worked in news media and government services. Before moving to Las Vegas, Grogan was active in the passage of Limited Stakes Gaming in Colorado and served as the first Executive Director of the Colorado Gaming Owners Association. He has spent the latter part of his career in casino gaming. He founded the

Materials were donated in 2017 and 2020 by Stephen P. Grogan; accession numbers 2017-146, 2020-099.
Processing Note
In 2018, Tammi Kim accessioned the collection and created the finding aid in ArchivesSpace. Files were transferred off of optical discs and access surrogates created. In 2021, Tammi Kim accessioned the 2020 addition and updated the finding aid.

Twenty five decorative slot machine glasses in this collection were appraised and removed from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Libraries Special Collections and Archives' holdings.
