Joy Snyder was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Snyder attended Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1978 and found work at Desert Springs Hospital. 1n 1979, she began work at Sunrise Hospital. Snyder retired in 2000.
Jack W. Zunino was born in Elko, Nevada. He graduated from the University of Utah in psychology and Utah State University in landscape architecture while earning his tuition as a road construction laborer. He started his own landscape architecture firm in 1989.
Elinor Horden was a dancer and Las Vegas showgirl. She was born in 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Las Vegas in the early 1950s. She married Charles Horden in 1955. Her sister-in-law was Jayne Horden Graglia, who was the wife of John Graglia.
Morgan Mills was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on July 27, 1914. He later moved to California, where he worked as an electrical engineer and was involved in the Boulder (Hoover) Dam project in Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed away on March 20, 1982 in Los Angeles, California.
James Robert Sparrow was born in Coalgate, Oklahoma on ovember 17, 1931 to James Dewey Sparrow. He lived in Los Angeles, California from 1940 to 1942, before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. He was married to Mary Davis.
Earl Richard Sorom was born on December 3, 1934 in Minnesota. He later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1955 after serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He worked in the radiological heath field, and passed away on July 8, 2004 in Las Vegas.
Morris "Maury" David Goldwater Soss was born on April 30, 1913 in Spokane, Washington. He lived in California until 1923, when he moved to Nevada. He owned his own clothing store, Fanny's, and worked as a dress merchant. He passed away on July 2, 2002.
Paul Pradia was born in Cameron, Louisiana in 1939. Pradia moved to Las Vegas in 1995, he teaches golf and is a board member of 1st Tee of Southern Nevada and the Nevada Senior Games, working to promote women golfers. He remains an active member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
Rodrigo was raised in a mix-status Mexican family. He was born in Mexico and immigrated at age three. He became a citizen of the U.S. when he was in 8th grade. He is a grad student who has been a student worker on the Latinx Voices project since its inception in 2018.
