Oral history interview with Chris Guinchigliani conducted by Suzanne Becker on July 20, 2007 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. Guinchigliani discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1980s and teaching at a middle school. She also discusses involving herself in the teachers’ union as well as serving in various leadership positions.

Oral history interview with Melody Stein conducted by Barbara Tabach on August 16, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Stein discusses teaching at the Hebrew Academy and Adelson Educational Campus. She also discusses Jewish art and various forms and mediums of art. She then talks about her involvement with the local Polymer Clay Guild and their various projects.

Oral history interview with Gertrude Toston conducted by Claytee D. White on July 21, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Toston discusses attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in the 1960s. She also discusses working as a customer service representative for Western Airlines for 27 years before going back to UNLV to work on her master's degree in special education. She then talks about working as a graduate teaching assistant and student teacher advisor at UNLV and as a teacher at Brinley Junior High.

Oral history interview with Nora Mirabal conducted by Elsa López on August 30, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Mirabal discusses her upbringing in Coralillo, Cuba. She describes her family's life in Cuba and shares her family's reasons for leaving the country. Mirabal talks about the immigration process, which involved Cuban migrants temporarily living in Spain, and moving from Spain to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1973. She recalls schooling, taking English as Secondary Language (ESL) classes, and being involved with the 28th street gang for protection. Later, Mirabal discusses attending the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and the University of Las Vegas, Nevada (UNLV). She describes the Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program, education funding in Clark County, and CSN’s collaboration with Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program. Lastly, Mirabal talks about Cuban traditions, Cuban community in Las Vegas, and her involvement with the Latin Chamber of Commerce.
