Description
A display inside the Guild Theatre advertising the film “Fanny” Las Vegas, Nevada 1961. Fanny opened in the United States on June 28, 1961. Located in downtown Las Vegas at 208 S. 2nd Street (today renamed Casino Center Boulevard) and Ogden Avenue, the Palace Theatre is listed in the 1941 edition of Film Daily Yearbook with a seating capacity of 500. In 1943, it is listed as the New Palace Theatre. In 1950 it was back to the Palace Theatre name, with a seating capacity of 641. It was renamed Guild Theatre in 1961. Now demolished, a parking structure has been built on the site. Site Name: Guild Theatre (Las Vegas, Nev.)

Description
On a production stage decorated with blue platforms and a background picture of of the San Francisco bridge, entertainers perform Act 4: "The Mood: Blue and Beautiful," Scene 1: "To Scan Francisco and Love with Music" of the show Pzazz! 70 staged by Donn Arden at the Desert Inn Hotel, Las Vegas. Male and female performers pose across the stage as a crowd of people watch from below. Scattered across the stairway and stage are multiple female performers clothed in elaborate dresses, made of everything from light pink or teal feathers to sheer silver or blue fabric. The male performers are wearing suits colored varying shades of blue that are either solid in color or are covered in a detailed pattern.
