FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA MASON CITY, IOWA HOLSUM BREAD November 23,1959 Mr. A1 Freeman c/o Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: Referring to the production of Angelita Bread had since we first attempted to put this bread on the market, the following is a summary of loaves of bread produced, the number of loaves used as samples or damaged, the number of loaves of stale, together with the net number of loaves sold. These summaries include production from our Minneapolis plant for the period commencing with the week ending April 19, 1958 through and including the week ending October 31, 1959 for the Mason City and Fargo plants for the period commencing with the week ending May 17, 1958 through and including the week ending October 31, 1959. Summary of these figures is as follows: for the week ending May 24, 1958 and from each of the Mason City and Fargo plants for the week ending June 21, 1958. The following is a summary of the production, samples and damaged loaves and stale loaves for the respect- ive periods remitted for from each plant through the week ending October 31, 1959: You know it has been our practice to attach a statement covering remittances for each plant, setting forth the gross number of loaves sold, less stale, cripples and samples and calculation of the royalties at the rate of one center per loaf. Total remittances to the Foundation have amounted to the sum of #7,529.75, which is a few dollars in excess of the actual royalty as shown by the above figures, but we have been unable to reconcile this dif- ference at that amount. matter of stalings.
