Oral history interview with Midge Innis conducted by James Thomas Griffin on May 8, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Oral history interview with Maxine James conducted by Danny DiGiacomo on March 2, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. The two discuss the ease with which people could find jobs in early Las Vegas, Nevada. James talks about the Sahara, Thunderbird, and El Rancho casinos. The interview ends with a discussion on the rapid growth of the city in the 1950s and 1960s.

Oral history interview with Edward Gregory conducted by Jonathan R. Bellingar on March 2, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Gregory discusses leaving Nevada to serve in the Army during World War II before eventually returning to Nevada in 1950. The interview concludes with a brief overview of how Nellis Air force Base has changed since the 1950s.

Oral history interview with Floyd Jenne conducted by Gordon Brusso on April 04, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Mr. Jenne discusses living and working in McGill, Nevada in the 1920’s and 1930’s. He offers insight into the school system in McGill, as well. He also speaks about working in Boulder City, Nevada as a police officer with the Bureau of Reclamation.

Oral history interview with Doris Evans conducted by Lance Kenny on March 12, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Doris Evans discusses real estate, local hotels, early transportation, and social recreation. She also talks about nuclear testing, crime, environmental changes, and marriage and family life in Boulder City, Nevada and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Robert Cannon conducted by an unknown interviewer on April 7th, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Cannon recalls his contribution to the Pacific Northwest promotional campaign, being on the Board of Directors at the Chamber of Commerce, and being a member of the Convention Authority. He also mentions working with Bobby Calhoun, Maxwell Kelch and the Earl Brothers. He describes Las Vegas, Nevada as the “Entertainment Capital of the World.”

Oral history interview with Dan Lubin conducted by David Schwartz on November 30, 2016 for the History of Gaming Oral History Project.
