Abstract
The Mavis Eggle "Books as They Were Bought" collection provides a broad overview of printed material from the 1780s through 1949. Gathered by book collector Mavis Eggle, the collection serves as a social history of books, newspapers, and ephemera. Physical characteristics of the books include a variety of printer's marks, publishers' bindings, bookplates, and early subscription libraries. The collection's titles are a diverse and creative gathering of poetry, children' literature, religious texts, broadsides, newspapers, and popular fiction. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Administrative Correspondence Records (1959-1982) primarily contain correspondence from administrative departments, committees, and individuals at UNLV including the Graduate Council, the Assistant to the President, Office of the President, Office of the Academic Vice President, and the Library Committee. The collection includes early documents from when UNLV was established as the southern regional extension of the University of Nevada, and later Nevada Southern University. Additional materials include projections, a room use study, and UNLV 25th Anniversary stickers.

The event marked the construction start ofthe All Net Resort & Arena, a $1.4 billion arena, hotel and shopping center project in Las Vegas, Nevada. Robinson, a former NBA player, talks about the vision behind this project and its impact on the Las Vegas community.

Collection is comprised of the papers of Diana Crites dating from 1976 to 1990 and includes poems, short stories, two novels, and many recipes and recipe booklets published for the Nevada Power Company (NPC). Also included are an in-house NPC phonebook, a booklet on the operations center for NPC, news clippings, and power saving instruction materials.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) University Libraries Collection of Nevada Calendars consists of promotional calendars from organizations, institutions, and corporate bodies operating or based in Nevada from 1908 to 2016. Materials include advertising calendars from the Union Pacific Railroad, Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., and the Harold's Club in Reno, Nevada. It also includes calendars from businesses and organizations in Las Vegas, Nevada that no longer exist.
