The UNLV Libraries Collection of Spanish Broadsides (approximately 1747-1930) consists of gaming-related broadsides published in Spain and Mexico. The documents are proclamations regarding the legality of gambling, owning and operating gaming houses. Many of the documents are signed or decreed by José María de Tornel y Mendívil, a 19th-century Mexican politician. The collection also includes examples of printed games from the early 20th century.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Chinese and Soviet Union Communist Party Publications (1960-1968) consists of small format publications in English by the Chinese and Soviet Union Communist Parties. Topics covered in the literature include labor disputes, trade unions, housing, higher education, and general education about the Communist Party. The majority of the material is published by either the Foreign Languages Press in Peking or the Novosti Press Agency Publishing House in Moscow. The collection also contains three issues of Peking Review and an anti-Vietnam War pamphlet produced by the Socialist Workers Party.

The Voices from the Past: The Las Vegas Springs Preserve Oral History Project consists of nine interviews conducted by Joe Thompson in 2002 with community members, field experts, and politicians involved in the creation of the Springs Preserve, which opened in 2007. Interviewees include Claude and Liz Warren, John Mendoza, Richard Bryan, and others. Digital audio available; no transcripts available.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Faculty Publications (1950-2008) is comprised of reports, scholarly journal articles, and books that were written by UNLV faculty and staff. Publications also include book reviews and conference presentations. Subjects include biology, chemistry, English, and sociology.

UNLV Libraries Collection of Argosy Gaming Company Promotional Materials and Reports includes annual reports, financial reports, prospectus, equity reports, stockholder meeting notices, 10-K reports, 10-Q reports, and newspaper clippings for Argosy Gaming Company in Alton, Illinois, dating from 1993 to 2001.

The Nevada Gaming Fiftieth Anniversary collection consists of materials dating from 1981 related to the fiftieth anniversary of the legalization of gaming in the state of Nevada. Included in the collection are programs, invitations, and memorabila commemorating the fiftieth anniversary that were collected by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Special Collections.
