The Emily Higby Powell Photograph Album (approximately 1910-1920) contains black-and-white photographs taken by Emily Higby Powell on a trip from New York to the west coast. The images depict desert landscape throughout the Southwest, including Northern Nevada, as well as images taken on Lake Champlain in Essex, New York.

Oral history interview with Marihka "Minddie" Lloyd conducted by Kristel Peralta and Stefani Evans on June 15, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. Minddie talks about her upbringing in Manila, Philippines by her paternal grandmother and sisters (her Lolas) and her immigration to the United States at a young age. her personal history and childhood, including abuse that she suffered and her time in foster homes and a girls' home, Olive Crest. Minddie discusses the mentors she met through Olive Crest and her move to Las Vegas as an adult where she met her husband, an undercover Las Vegas Metro officer. Minddie talks about her employment with Hawaiian Air Lines, her support of the Injured Police Officers' Fund, and the creation of "Bamboo Bridges," a nonprofit organization based in Henderson, Nevada that aids abused, trafficked Asian women. Minddie also shares how she and her husband both contracted COVID-19 in 2020, and the untimely death of her spouse the day Minddie was released from the hospital. She shares how this event caused her to convert from Catholicism to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the religion of her late husband.

The CineVegas International Film Festival Records (1999-2009) include promotional guides, press kits, and press clippings about the film festival which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1999 to 2009. The materials in the collection include "clip books" which are comprised of media and newspaper clippings that mention the film festival. The collection also includes issues of magazines such as the Las Vegas Weekly, Premiere, and the Hollywood Reporter that feature stories about the film festival. Also included are audiovisual materials that include DVD and Betacam SP B-roll footage and news segments from local news channels about the festival.

Oral history interviews with Lee Plotkin conducted by Dennis McBride on August 02, 10, and 16; and October 04, 2006 for the Las Vegas Gay Archives Oral History Project. In these interviews, Plotkin talks about his reaction to Lieutenant Governor of Nevada Myron E. Leavitt's claim that attending the Nevada Gay Rodeo violated Nevada's sodomy laws in the early 1980s. Plotkin recalls his childhood, coming out during high school, his early involvement with the Las Vegas, Nevada gay community, and his memories of Lieutenant Governor Leavitt and Leavitt's family. Plotkin also discusses the development and activities of LGBTQ organizations and demonstrations, including Golden Rainbow and Gay Pride. Lastly, he talks about the repeal of Nevada's sodomy laws in 1993, the defeat of Nevada Citizens' Alliance's anti-gay initiative petition Minority Status and Child Protection Act of 1994, and the growth of the Las Vegas LGBTQ community.

The Tom and Erma Godbey Photograph Collection is comprised of thirteen black-and-white photographic prints and negatives from 1934 to 1944. The photographs depict the Godbey family participating in parades and other events in Boulder City, Nevada and Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Jim Ratigan Collection on Mike Miller (1982-2014) is primarily comprised of materials representing Mike Miller's involvement with creating Hey Reb! the official mascot for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 1982. Materials include meeting minutes from UNLV's mascot committee, various renditions of Hey Reb! created by Miller, newspaper clippings, as well as printouts of email correspondence from Miller to Jim Ratigan about the story of how he came to create the mascot. The collection also includes a copy of Miller's book, Larry the Last Leaf and a print of his painting, "Drawn to His Light." Also included are copies of programs for Miller's memorial service.

The Nevada-Utah Mines and Smelters Corporation Records (1889-1949) are comprised of the financial records of the company's activity regarding the Manhattan mine in Pioche, Lincoln County, Nevada. The collection contains bank records, accounts, and some correspondence, and is generally related to the company's financial activities. It also includes the company's financial vouchers, bills, receipts, and checks.
