Oral history interview with Gene Hotchkiss conducted by Barbara Clark on June 27, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Hotchkiss discusses her experiences living in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1946. Hotchkiss discusses the hotel industry, explaining that most casinos had a Western theme before the Flamingo was built, which started a luxury resort trend. Hotchkiss goes on to describe the development of Las Vegas Strip hotels.

Oral history interview with Jeanne Brown conducted by Claytee D. White on November 07, 2017 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Brown discusses her upbringing and growing up in a family who moved often. She talks about her initial interest in library science, and compares working as a university librarian to working as a public librarian. Brown remembers arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1978, joining the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Architecture Library, and the construction of the UNLV School of Architecture building. Lastly, Brown discusses the future of UNLV Libraries.

Oral history interview with James Perkins conducted by Janel Houldsworth on June 22, 2005 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Perkins reflects upon his career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). He describes the process by which he chose to pursue special education, and eventually became a teacher and administrator at several elementary and special education schools throughout the school district. He discusses issues such as student and staff diversity, and his interactions with Native American students through the development of Ute V. Perkins Elementary School in Moapa, Nevada. He also describes his approach to school administration, and his daily routine as a principal.

Oral history interview with Thomas Mulroy conducted by Richard Bidelman on March 16, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Mulroy discusses downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, local government, Old City Hall, Mormon Fort, citizen participation, and the construction of the Showboat Hotel and Casino.

Oral history interview with Stephen Schneider conducted by Stefani Evans on October 10, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Schneider discusses his early life and English education. He recalls arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1967, being an English teacher at Bishop Gorman High School, and his early interest in real estate. Oral history interviews with Steven Clarke conducted by Claytee D. White and Stefani Evans on November 17, 2016 and December 08, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the first interview, Clarke discusses his early life in Winnipeg, Canada. He talks about his early interest in architecture, and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2011. Clarke talks about becoming the director of the Downtown Design Center, future plans for the Historic Westside Community, and his role in the Historic Urban Neighborhood Design Redevelopment plan. In the second interview, Clarke discusses the HUNDRED Plan, a plan for community-led investment in the Historic Westside.
