Oral history interview with Mayra Salinas-Menjivar conducted by Nathalie Martinez, Elsa Lopez, and Barbara Tabach on September 20, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Mayra Salinas-Menjivar is a lawyer in Southern Nevada and a graduate of William S. Boyd School of Law. She grew up in Las Vegas but describes her early years living with her maternal grandparents in El Salvador. She describes some of the aftermath she experienced regarding the Civil War in El Salvador, and recounts some testimony told to her by her mother about that particular time period. She details the differences in immigrating in the 1990s and speaks about being an undocumented student. While pursuing a business degree at UNLV she found herself working at a law firm which is where she first decided to pursue law as a career after graduation. She talks about her experiences during law school and her time helping with the law school's immigration clinic. Oral history interview with Anita Tijerina Revilla conducted by Marcela Rodriguez-Campo on October 09, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Revilla discusses her early life in San Antonio, Texas. She talks about her decision to make education a priority, figuring out the college application process on her own, and her initial interest in social justice. Revilla talks about how her critical consciousness was developed, and her pedagogical approach to teaching. Revilla describes her role in the 2006 May Day march, advocating advocating for the queer community, and disrupting oppressive systems to increase educational access for students. Lastly, Revilla discusses ethnic studies and the history of inequality in the United States.

Jenne discusses his birth in Ogden, Utah in 1915, his early life in Northern Nevada in 1920s, and his later life in Boulder City, Nevada working as a reclamation ranger for the Bureau of Reclamation. Jenne begins the interviews discussing his work as a steel foundry worker and miner in McGill, Nevada, studying forestry, and enlisting in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Utah State University in 1934. Jenne then describes his experiences moving to Boulder City and working as a reclamation ranger. Other topics Jenne covers include providing security for notable Boulder City and Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam) visitors and patrolling the area. Lastly, Jeanne talks about the Boulder City Junior Chamber of Commerce, Boulder City's incorporation, and Boulder City law enforcement.
