The 5th (Fifth) Street Liquor Store in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 5th Street Liquor Store was opened in 1948, and the shop's well known sign was designed by YESCO (Young Electric Sign Company).

The YESCO visual materials series (1914-1988) document a visual history of YESCO from its early beginnings, through its expansions, to its work in the 1980s. They include visuals of various YESCO plants, shops, buildings, equipment and personnel, as well as various signs created and installed by YESCO in multiple states. The series includes black-and-white and color photographs as well as Polaroids. Description
The horse from the Hacienda Hotel sign in the Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO) sign graveyard, Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally located at 3590 Las Vegas Boulevard South, the Hacienda Hotel was open from 1956 to 1996 and was later replaced by the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino.

Description
Daytime and nighttime views of the Tam O' Shanter motel signs on The Strip. Information about the sign is available in the Southern Nevada Neon Survey Data Sheet.

Sign details: The Tam O'Shanter's signage is situated on the face of the property, which faces west on the east side of the street. Ten square, internally lit cabinets spell each letter of the title of the name of the motel across the overhang of the front structure of the motel. The facade is incorporated with the front office, the drive back into the motel section, and two small vendors offering various gifts, trips, and tourist information.

Sign details: Charlotte Richards came to Las Vegas at the age of 17, for her husband had abandoned her with 3 kids. Took a job at The Little church of the West. She married the man that helped her and that gave her the job there. After her second husband died she moved on and bought A Little White Wedding Chapel in 1967. A little White Wedding Chapel had been opened since 1951.
Sign condition: 4 - Still in relatively good condition.
Sign form: Pylon
Sign-specific description: This pylon sign is mainly white with splashes of red schemes particularly with the red hearts that are outlined in neon. The Two red hearts are represented underneath the name of the property in channeled rusty gold letters. The hearts have a gold ribbon rendering surrounding them also outlined in skeletal neon. The square design at the top of the sign resembling a chapel roof. Underneath the main portion of the sign is a plastic backlit sign that also has a heart on it.
