Navy Mothers' Club, Las Vegas, Nevada Records (1946-1979) contain scrapbooks, photographs, artifacts, by-laws, newspaper clippings, directories, and song books.

The Norman Kaye Papers span the years of 1952 to 1969 and are comprised of material from the career of Norman Kaye, a Las Vegas lounge entertainer and longtime poet laureate of Nevada. The materials contain correspondence, newspaper clippings, music manuscripts and poetry, and audio recordings from the Mary Kaye Trio.

The economic subject files document Dr. Spilde’s varied research interests relating to gaming economics dating from 1989 to 2013, with the bulk of the materials dating from 1994 to 2003. The materials include economic reports from both public (Government Accountability Office and the Congressional Research Service) and private institutions (Merrill Lynch, Fannie May, Bear Stearns, and Goldman Sachs); budget of the Department of the Interior; journal articles, legal briefs, and law reviews; materials about taxation and lotteries; conference materials; video recordings of televised programs; and newspaper articles. The materials document the economic impacts of Native American gaming and the greater gaming industry in the United States.

Oral history interview with Barbara Cloud conducted by Shirley Emerson on May 30, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Barbara Cloud discusses teaching journalism at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, building up the journalism program, becoming department chair, editor of Journalism history, and Associate Provost for Academic Affairs. She also discusses serving on the Nevada Commission of Colleges and Universities and the Nevada Humanities Committee, as well as currently indexing the Las Vegas Sun newspaper for digitization.

The Verna Mortensen Papers (1966-1979) document the work of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Clark County chapter to preserve and restore the Las Vegas, Nevada Mormon Fort. The collection contains newspaper clippings, notes, and a grant application for the Mormon Fort. It also includes an undated article about the history of the Las Vegas area and two eulogies given for Verna Mortensen.
