Oral history interviews with Stella Butterfield conducted by Joanne L. Goodwin on October 14, 2005 and October 25, 2005 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Butterfield opens her interviews discussing her family and childhood in the Bronx, New York, in the 1930s and 1940s. Butterfield then talks about her work for the U.S. Coast Guard as a typist during World War II and as a teletype operator for the U.S. Air Force. Butterfield then describes how her teletype operator job eventually moved her to Panama, and her experiences there. She then discusses her move with her husband Frank to Las Vegas, Nevada for his assignment at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB). Butterfield discusses becoming a court reporter at Nellis AFB and describes the city of Henderson, Nevada. Lastly, Butterfield talks about becoming a civilian court reporter for U.S. District Judge Roger T. Foley and her experiences as a freelance court reporter.

Oral history interview with Anna Jennings Welsh conducted by Judith Siu on July 05, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Welsh begins by describing her family's history in Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning in 1911 with her grandmother. She discusses her grandmother's life and her collection of artifacts, which would later become part of the Southern Nevada Museum by the Henderson, Nevada Chamber of Commerce (now the Clark County Museum). Welsh continues talking about her own life, including her education, hobbies, family, friends, and living in Las Vegas. She also discusses nuclear weapons testing, the history of casinos in Las Vegas, her father's work constructing Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam), and how Las Vegas has changed.

Oral history interview with Marihka "Minddie" Lloyd conducted by Kristel Peralta and Stefani Evans on June 15, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. Minddie talks about her upbringing in Manila, Philippines by her paternal grandmother and sisters (her Lolas) and her immigration to the United States at a young age. her personal history and childhood, including abuse that she suffered and her time in foster homes and a girls' home, Olive Crest. Minddie discusses the mentors she met through Olive Crest and her move to Las Vegas as an adult where she met her husband, an undercover Las Vegas Metro officer. Minddie talks about her employment with Hawaiian Air Lines, her support of the Injured Police Officers' Fund, and the creation of "Bamboo Bridges," a nonprofit organization based in Henderson, Nevada that aids abused, trafficked Asian women. Minddie also shares how she and her husband both contracted COVID-19 in 2020, and the untimely death of her spouse the day Minddie was released from the hospital. She shares how this event caused her to convert from Catholicism to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the religion of her late husband.

Oral history interview with Jacque Olvera-Deki and Richard H. Deki conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on March 18, 2024 for the Reflections: the Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Richard and Jacque describe their early lives, moving to Henderson, Nevada in 1997, and being in close proximity to both the 1 October and December 6 shootings in Las Vegas. Oral history interviews with Sig Rogich conducted by Linda McSweeney on September 30, 2014 and November 07, 2014 and by Claytee D. White on May 24, 2022 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Rogich opens his interview by briefly discussing his Icelandic background and his family's move to Henderson, Nevada in 1954. He then discusses doing odd jobs as a child and his life as a youth in Henderson. He talks about his college education and working at the Lake Tahoe Hotel after college. Rogich then discusses getting into political campaign management, and how Las Vegas, Nevada has changed over time. In his second interview, Rogich describes his efforts to improve the community through the Academic Foundation, an organization he founded, and their various campaign initiatives including preserving Lake Tahoe and supporting Opportunity Village. In the third interview, Rogich discusses his background in politics, as well as his efforts to give back to the Las Vegas community. He has served on executive and advisory boards for Opportunity Village, Public Education Foundation, Board of Trustees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and Board of Governors of Valley Health System, to name a few. He closes the interview with recalling his proudest moment in 2000 when the Sig Rogich Middle School opened in Summerlin.

The Harry Hayden Whiteley Architectural Records are comprised of architectural records (1931-1970) created and/or maintained by the American architect Harry Hayden Whiteley and/or his architectural firm, known as Harry Hayden Whiteley and Associates. This collection includes 30.21 linear feet of materials including 45 items from over 30 projects. The collection focuses on his work in the Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada areas. The materials feature both architectural drawings and project files. Architectural drawings include pencil and ink on tracing paper preliminary sketches and mounted artist’s renderings used for presentations and promotional materials. Project files include project correspondence, photographs, and structural calculations. The drawings also contain work from the architect Paul Revere Williams. The collection includes architectural drawings for hotels, shopping plazas, residential developments, and office buildings.

Oral history interview with Joseph C. Mattingly conducted by Sean Powers on February 23, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Mattingly discusses moving back and forth between Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada during the 1930s and 1940s before finally settling in Las Vegas in 1954. Mattingly also discusses his life as a sheet metal worker for commercial buildings, Las Vegas Strip hotels, and buildings on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus.
