The Thomas Hickey Political Papers (1964-1996) contain the professional files of Hickey’s career as a Nevada State Assemblyman and Senator. Materials include constituent correspondence, voting records, memoranda, newspaper clippings, bills, and research documentation on topics such as the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), education, health, prisons, finance, and Nevada infrastructure. The James C. Shaw Collection on Hotel Dining consists of materials relating to hotel dining from hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada and other North American cities during the 1980s. The collection features room service menus, hotel restaurant menus, and information regarding banquet services.

The Nevada Federation of Women's Clubs (NFWC) Records date from 1907 until 1999 and document the administration, activities, and publications of the NFWC. During the twentieth century, the NFWC included member clubs from throughout the state of Nevada including the Mesquite Club in Las Vegas, the Reno Women's Civic Club, and the Lamoille Women's Club. The collection includes meeting minutes and agendas, correspondence, publications, reports, and newspaper clippings.

The Ortiz Family Collection on the Las Vegas 51s Baseball Team consists of programs, baseball cards, posters, newspaper clippings, and seasonal media guides from 1983 to 2010. The bulk of material is from 1983-2000, when the Las Vegas Stars franchise was affiliated with the San Diego Padres. In 1983, a Pacific Coast Minor League franchise moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and became the Las Vegas Stars. The team was an affiliate of the San Diego Padres from 1983 to 2000, and in 2001 the name changed to the Las Vegas 51s. The team was then affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2001-2008), the Toronto Blue Jays (2009-2012), and the New York Mets (2013-2018). Now the Las Vegas Aviators, the team is affliated with the Oakland A's (2019-present).

The Muriel Stevens Papers (1969-2006) consist of materials documenting Stevens' career as a television cooking show host and newspaper columnist in Las Vegas, Nevada. Newspaper articles, correspondence, ephemera, certificates, and photographs provide information about her career, and to a lesser extent, her personal life. The collection also includes publications and records documenting the Nevada State Dairy Commission and the Las Vegas hospitality industry. The Video Recordings series consists mainly of episodes of the Muriel Stevens Show.
