Boyer, Harold Lester, 1916-2002

Born in 1916 in Hartman, Arkansas, Boyer attended a two-story school which went to eighth grade, fished in a nearby stream, and earned money from the age of six selling newspapers. Harold lived through the Great Depression and completing his high school and college education. He graduated from University of Oklahoma medical school. After serving in World War II and the Korean War, he settled in Las Vegas. He opened his own dermatology clinic before opening Las Vegas Skin and Cancer Clinic with Dr. Lucius Blanchard.

Greenspun, Brian, 1946-

Brian Greenspun is the publisher and editor of the Las Vegas Sun, a newspaper founded by his parents Hank and Barbara Greenspun in 1950. Brian Greenspun is also the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and sole owner of the Sun's parent company, Greenspun Media Group. He is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations in the Las Vegas, Nevada community and is a Trustee of the University of Nevada Las Vegas Foundation, the Simon Wiesenthal Museum of Tolerance, and The Brookings Institution.

Perry, Harry, 1888-1985

American cinematographer Harry Frank Perry was born on May 2, 1888, the fifth of seven children born to Fannie Teter and Henry Perry in Idana, Kansas. He married Fern Frost Strange on July 29, 1921, and the couple had three children, Harry Frank Perry Jr., Thomas Leon Perry, and John Richard Perry. Perry is most well known for his work on aerial cinematic sequences in Wings (1927) and Howard Hughes' Hell's Angels (1930), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. He died on February 9, 1985 in Los Angeles, California.
