Bell, Rex, Jr., 1934-2011

Rex A. Bell Jr. was born December 16, 1934 in Santa Monica, California to Rex Bell and Clara Bow. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1934. Bell has lived in both Reno, Nevada and Las Vegas. Bell Jr. has worked as a clothing store owner, a Justice of the Peace, and a legal advisor to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. He married his wife, Dorothy, on October 16, 2000. Bell Jr. passed away in 2011.

Hall, Ashley, 1943-

Ashley Hall was born April 3, 1943 in Caliente, Nevada. After high school, he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad at the Nevada Test Site as a cashier and as a signalman. He later attended Brigham Young University and the University of Nevada, Reno. After college, Hall served the City of Las Vegas, Nevada as City Manager. He was instrumental in the initial development of Summerlin, Nevada. After retiring from local politics, he remained active as the President of the Old Spanish Trail Association and as the United States Army Reserve Ambassador.

All Shades United (Las Vegas, Nev.)

All Shades United (Las Vegas) is a community organization with the the goal of having people of all colors come together in solidarity to dismantle the institutional and structural barriers that oppress the marginalized here in Las Vegas. It was founded by Vance "Stretch" Sanders. The group primarily organizes marches and rallies against systemic racism, as well as marches and rallies to boost the needs of the marginalized.

Arum, Bob

Bob (Robert) Arum is the founder and CEO of Top Rank boxing promotions company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in New York City, Arum is a former attorney and a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He promoted his first fight for Muhammad Ali in 1966 and moved Top Rank’s headquarters to Las Vegas in 1986. He has produced countless fights in the city and helped to make it “The Fight Capital of the World.”
