Bernard Lee Brown was born November 23, 1915 in New Albany, Indiana. Brown moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1956. Brown worked as an assistant division manager and as a realtor. He has a son, Marcus B. Brown.

Cynthia Cicero was born in Buffalo, New York into an Italian family. She has one older brother. Cynthia moved to Las Vegas with her husband Philip for employment opportunities. They moved here in the 1970s and lived in the Spanish Oaks Apartments.
