Dunbar, Jim, 1938-2019

James Fox "Jim" Dunbar was Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino's longest-tenured employee. He was born on June 22, 1938 in Los Angeles, California. His parents were Harold Leslie Dunbar and Elaine Mary Greenberg. Dunbar's father moved the family to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1943 to work as a taxi driver. On August 4, 1966, Dunbar worked at Caesars Palace at its grand opening as a valet, and continued working as a Caesars Palace valet until 2018. He died March 29, 2019.

Lopez, Horacio, 1938-

Horacio Lopez was born on January 12, 1938, in Cordova, New Mexico to Elias and Cordelia Lopez. Lopez describes his hometown as self-sufficient and self-reliant and that his family grew their own food and raised livestock. His father only received a second-grade education and worked as a miner.

Rogers, James E., 1938-

James Earl "Jim" Rogers was born on on September 15, 1938 and moved with his family to Las Vegas, Nevada from Los Alamos, New Mexico in 1953. Rogers graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1956 and eventually went on to earn degrees from the University of Arizona in accounting and law, a masters of law from the University of Southern California in 1963, and his doctorate of law from the University of Arizona in 1998.
