Scope and Contents
The Photoshoots series (approximately 1957-2009) contains materials that document Robert Scott Hooper’s photography practice throughout his career in Las Vegas, Nevada, including professional photoshoots, test and experimental photoshoots, and documentary photographs. The materials consist of 35mm negatives, positives, and slides; medium and large format negatives and positives in 4x5 and 8x10 sizes; contact sheets; various sizes of Polaroids; and photographic prints. The materials document Hooper’s photographic style and techniques and include glamour photography, portraiture, and magazine and advertising work featuring models, entertainers, showgirls, and live events throughout southern Nevada.
