#70373: The Southern Nevada ghost town of St. Thomas as seen August 3, 2015 in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. St. Thomas was abandoned as Lake Mead filled after the completion of Hoover Dam. At times when the lake is full, St. Thomas lies under 60 feet of water, but at times of lower water levels, the town's foundations can easily be seen., 2015 August 03
