Not having had a reply to my letter to Mr. Martin in which I hope he will outline the history and present status of this water service, the foregoing is based upon the assumption that the original corporation or its successors has not been dissolved so that the Pioche Water System might be in a position of starting anew. From the standpoint of policy, because substantial improvements have been made to the system, resulting in a better service and supply, and because there is apparently much difficulty in sustaining this service without payment by all users, the proper officers of the Railroad might consider a cancellation of the 1909 contract.
