Las Vegas - June 22, 1942 Mr. Frank Strong? Complying with your request. As to population of Las Vegas, might say that I can find no accurate record kept of population, but am advised by both of our papers that in 1940 we had a population of 8,422, in 1941 it had increased to approximately 10,000 and from June 1941 to date it has increased to about 23,000.
