I agree.Las Vegas - June 22, 1942 Mr. Frank Strong? Complying with your request. As to population of Las Vegas, might say that I can find no accurate record kept of population, but am advised by both of our papers that in 1940 we had a population of 8,422, in 1941 it had increased to approximately 10,000 and from June 1941 to date it has increased to about 23,000. This is based on sugar rationing and other authentic figures. Hoping this will give you the desired information, I am Yours very truly, W .H .J . JUN 2 4 'J42
