Cragin) Referring to your requisition 64-155 covering a fire pump and starter panel for use at Las Vegas as covered by my purchase order 36-SD-6342-W placed with the Worthington Pump & Machinery Corporation* I quote their letter to me of Deoember 8th: “In reference to the subject order, we are purchasing the motor and control from the General Eleotrlc Company. The General Electric Company advise that the best ship­ment they are able to make on the motor is April 9, 1946. Further, their shipping schedule on the control is June 1 1 , 1946. As these shipments are somewhat longer than the General Electric Co. originally anticipated, we would like your authorization to proceed with the order on this basis. "We have checked with other suppliers and have not been able to better the shipping schedule listed above. “Thanking you for your cooperation in this matter, we are Will you please advise if the delivery offered will be satisfactory.
