Las fegas • March 3, 1950 IWhS Mr. A. 0* Kitten la February 19^8 the Railroad Company entered into an arrangement with death Kev&da Power Company under whleh the later would deliver power for ridlread usage at Lae Vegas whloh would permit abandonment of ota* steam power plant. Inoidental to this agreement the Railroad Company provided the Power Company with easements over the properly held and two sites for oonatruotlon of sub-stations. The 1st *ub-atatlon was constructed in the vlolnlty of the old power plant, but when the Power Co. made application to the Planning Commission to construct the 2nd sub-station near Ranohs Ko&d they met with refusal because it was too close to a main thoroughfare. The Power Company inquires whether the location of the 2nd site can be changed from Ranehe Bead to a point approximately Idoo feet east. Mill you Mindly advise.
