The report said one witness, testified that bus service - to a section of North Las Vegas was curtailed without notice or hearing by action of the chairman upon plea of the bus company that street was impassable by reason of sewer improvements. It said that the commission without previous notice to public or hearings, authorized Southern Nevada Power Company to impose a .ban upon electric space heating on all new construction in Clark. County. After protest by Las Vegas residents, the committee said, the ban was withdrawn and replaced by a requirement for installation of electric load regulations. Effect of original order, the committee said, was “to disorganize arid delay several large, housing subdivisions then planned or in process of construction.” It .said the effort of order for installation of load regulations was, to cause federal housing administration to refuse to insure mortgage loans upon homes in which they had been installed.
