Distribution Mains to Points of Consumption. INTAKE PUMPIKC PLANT Ths Intake Pumping Plant consists of the following unites 1 Steel Truss Cantilever Structure* 1 Pump Bouse* 6 Deep Well Turbine Pumpe* 1 Concrete Control Bouse* Electrical Control Equipment* CANTILEVER STRUCTURE The Cantilever Sturoture 1# of trussed steel oonstruotion, 386 feet 9 Inches long with a clear projection of 233 feet, 0 inches. The deck of the struc­ture is 13*23 feet above the high water level of Lake Mead* The location is on the deep water side of an Island, which was separated from the main shore by shallow water when the lake level was high. The pump housing and pumps are located at the extreme end of the cantilever structure. The cantilever structure was fabricated and erected by the American Bridge Company, sub­contractors under Engineers Limited*
