The site eight miles north of Las Vegas, where the Gunnery School Is located, Is known as hoCarran Field* Commercial planes are using that landing field temporarily until runways can be constructed at the Alamo south of town. Contract has already been awarded to a Los Angeles firm for converting the army barracks at MoGarran.Field to apartments for use of personnel and their families when the field Is reactivated* A.
