SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES AND SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY Dear Sir:- Refei-ring to Mr.Bettis' letter March sixteenth to the Chief Engineer about another cess pool at Las Vegas having caved in. It would appear that these cess pools had not been properly constructed in the first instance, otherwise we would not have had the trouble that has occurred on account of their caving in.
