I agree.SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES AND SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY Dear Sir:- Refei-ring to Mr.Bettis' letter March sixteenth to the Chief Engineer about another cess pool at Las Vegas having caved in. It would appear that these cess pools had not been properly constructed in the first instance, otherwise we would not have had the trouble that has occurred on account of their caving in. Were they timbered when first put down, or were they merely holes dug in the ground? \ OFFICE OF FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT W. H. BANCROFT,, First Vice-president Salt Lake City, March 20th, 1912 Caving in of cess pools; Las Vegas: Mr O • Robs Clark Second Vice-President Los Angeles, California CC-Mr.H.I.Bettis
