136 4. House that I intend to repair and fit up for herder’s quarters. A short distance from this house I have begun a corral for gathering and keeping the cattle, also a place for slaughtering some. This work can all be done without a dollar’s extra labor and without extra cost for material other than that now on hand. Eighth. My plan is to buy young cattle- cows for breeding purposes from 3 to 5 years old, and steers for immediate use about 2 years old. We will have 100 pupils. This will give us about 100# beef daily. There counting rations issued to working Indians and beef sold to employes and we have 125# daily. A two year old coming three yr old, steer will weight from 800# to 1200 # grass.
