On the 4th of February I purchased 5 fine Durham caves- all milk cows and one Balled Angus bull. Since there we have had an addition of one bull calf. This comprises our herd. Fifth. With two herders I can care for 200 head. Sixth. (will be found on estimate herewith enclosed.) Seventh. The bottom where I will put the cattle consists of some 5000 acres. On the land and born on [not legible] from the school, is an abandoned adobe.
