Bear Madam: I received last night a letter, of which the enclosed is a copy. I assume that you have had a similar communication. I called you up, hut got no response, so X am sending this for your in­formation, and will talk to you by phone at the first opportunity. Please call me Monday. I have forwarded a copy of the letter to Mr. MoGonigle. TOT:HMB Encl.i m & <f I J91&, Mrs. Sadie B. George, 802 East Kensington Road, Los Angeles, California. (COPY) St. Thomas, lev., June 5th, 1918. Mr, T. 0. Tolan Los Angeles, California. My Dear Sir: I have parties who will buy the salt near St. Thomas, Nev., and I am instructed to secure an option on same for thirty days. All this party wishes, is just time enough in which to make examination and report. Willing to pay $150,000 (One hundred and Fifty Thousand dollars ) cash down, as soon as examination and report is completed, should you and your friends of Ventura care to dispose of your interests for above amount. Please make out option in my name and have all interests signed and forward to me at your earliest possible convienance. All of St. Thomas owners anxious for a sale at this price. I am hot authorized to make any payment to secure option. All that is wanted is time enough only for exam., and report, and if that be satisfactory, which I am convinced it will be, the cash will be placed in the Bank to the credit of stock­holders as directed by them.
