Because Boulder City Rotary Club a held its Christmas celebration Wednes-day evening instead of the regular Wednesday noon meeting, we fear that some of our members lost their chance to make up their attendance. First, there was Rotary Ann Helen Beville, upon whom fell the responsibil-ity of arranging for the gifts, and who "beautifully wrapped them.... Then there were the other members, each of whom is doing an important part to make this a worthwhile Rotary Christmas--SAM KURTZ, JOHN BEVILLE and the Old Standby, JIM SHAVER. CHRISTMAS TOYS Again this year "Scoop" Garside has been busy with the "Toys For Underpriv-ileged Children.".... Only a fewRotar-ians will remember that Las Vegas Rotary Club gave $500 for the purchase of tools for the Las Vegas Fire Laddies, so that they could repair eld or used toys to make them suitable for Santa Claus to give out again It is a fine service of which Las Vegas Rotary is *oroud. The issue is 12 pages with 39 pictures of members and their Rotary Anns. The occasion (Dec. 16) was the official visit- of their District Governor Walter Ken-nedy. ... Among other things , the Sunbeam carries a little story: "Seems strange to see John Bcice's name among the visiting Rotarians. John's listed as being from Las Vegas, Nevada, but there's just too much sand in John's shoes to stay away long from ol' St.Pete."
