This Ordinance was read aloud to the Board for the first time at a regular meeting of the Board on the 7th day of August, 1945. at which time it was proposed, considered and voted upon, and unanimously adopted and thereafter published in the Las Vegas Tribune a daily newspaper, published in the City of Las Vegas, for a period of once a week for two consecutive weeks immediately following its first reading. And it was thereafter read aloud to the Board for a second time, adopted, approved and finally passed at a regular meeting of the Board held on the 22nd day of August, 1945. THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The entire city of Las Vegas is hereby declared to be and is hereby established a Fire District, and said Fire District shall be know and designated as Fires Zones, One (1), Two (2) and Two Special (2s), and Three (3). The fire zones shall comprise and included such territory or portions of the City of Las Vegas as outlined and described in Sections 3, 4, and 5 of this Ordinance. Section 2. All buildings or structures hereafter erected, constructed, moved within, enlarged, altered, repaired, or converted shall be subject to the "Requirements Based on Location in Fire Zones, Part IV, Chapter 16 Uniform Building Code of the City of Las Vegas," or any amendments thereto. - Section 3. Fire Zone #1 shall include all that portion of the City of Las Vegas lying within the area described as follows: All of Blocks 2,3,4,13,14,15,18,19,30,31,34,35; Lots 27 to 32 inclusive in Block 12; Lots l to y inclusive in Block 21 and Lots 27-32 inclusive in Block 21; lots 1 to 6 inclusive in Block 28; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 29; all as platted in Clark's Las Vegas Townsite.
