This Ordinance was read aloud to the Board for the first time at a regular meeting of the Board on the 7th day of August, 1945. at which time it was proposed, considered and voted upon, and unanimously adopted and thereafter published in the Las Vegas Tribune a daily news­paper, published in the City of Las Vegas, for a period of once a week for two consecutive weeks immediately following its first reading. And it was thereafter read aloud to the Board for a second time, adopted, approved and finally passed at a regular meeting of the Board held on the 22nd day of August, 1945. Jennings, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is Editor of the Las Vegas Morning Tribune, a daily newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of TWO WEEKS (CONSECUTIVE) from August 11, 1945 to August 18, 1945 exclusive, being the issue of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: August 11, 18, 1945. Jennings______ Subscribed and sworn to before me this day of August 20, 1945 _____ /s/ Louis Wiener, Jr._________ My Commissioner Expires Aug. 13, 1946 ORDINANCE NO. 304 AN ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS CREATING AND ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES. THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The entire city of Las Vegas is hereby declared to be and is hereby established a Fire District, and said Fire District shall be know and designated as Fires Zones, One (1), Two (2) and Two Special (2s), and Three (3). The fire zones shall comprise and included such territory or portions of the City of Las Vegas as outlined and described in Sections 3, 4, and 5 of this Ordinance. Section 2. All buildings or structures hereafter erected, constructed, moved within, enlarged, altered, repaired, or converted shall be subject to the "Requirements Based on Location in Fire Zones, Part IV, Chapter 16 Uniform Building Code of the City of Las Vegas," or any amend­ments thereto. - Section 3. Fire Zone #1 shall include all that portion of the City of Las Vegas lying within the area described as follows: All of Blocks 2,3,4,13,14,15,18,19,30,31,34,35; Lots 27 to 32 inclusive in Block 12; Lots l to y inclusive in Block 21 and Lots 27-32 inclusive in Block 21; lots 1 to 6 inclusive in Block 28; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 29; all as platted in Clark's Las Vegas Townsite. All of Blocks 2, 3, 6, and 7 in Hawkins Addition. Lots 1 to 6 inclusive and lot C in Block 3, Bucks Subdivision. All of the area lying within and bounded by the Union Pacific Rail­road main trackage on the west, West Bonanza Road ( Clark Street) on the North, North Main Street and south Main Street on the east, and the westerly prolongation of the center line of East Garces Street between south Main Street and the Union Pacific Railroad main trackage on the south. Section 4. Fire Zone #2 shall include all of that portion of the City of Las Vegas lying with­in the area described as follows: All of Blocks 1, 16, 17, 32, 33, 38; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive and Lots 27, to 32 inclusive in Block 5; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 6; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 7; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Blocks 8; Lots 17 to 32 inclusive in Block 11; Lots 1 to 6 inclusive and Lots 17 to 26 inclusive in Block 12; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 22; lots 7 to 16 inclusive in Block 21; Lots 27 to 32 inclusive in Block 28; Lots 17 to 39 inclusive in Block 29? alias platted in Clark's Las Vegas Townsite. All of Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 6; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 7; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 8; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive in Block 9? Lots 1 to 5 inclusive in Block 10; all as platted in the South Addition to the City of Las Vegas. All frontage on both sides of Fifth Street to a depth of one Hundred fifty feet (150'( each side of the right of way line between the south city limits and the South Sixteenth line of Section 27, excepting therefrom such portions as exist in Fire Zone #1 and the City Park. Lots 17 to 22 inclusive in Block 1; Lots 27 to 32 inclusive in Block 4; Lots 1 to 6 inclusive and Lots 27 to 32 inclusive in Block 5? Lots 1 to 6 inclusive in Block 8; Block B; all in Hawkins Addition. Lots 6 to 11 inclusive in Block 4? Lots 6, 7, 8 in Block 11; Lots 1 to 11 inclusive in Block 12; Lots 1 to 5 inclusive and Lots 11, 12, 13 in Block 13? all in Bucks Subdivision. All frontage on both sides of East Fremont Street to a depth of one hundred fifty feet (150') each side of the right-of-way line between Eighth Street and the east city limits? all frontage on the east side of Main Street to a depth of one hundred fifty feet (150') and included between Stewart Street and the noth city limits? and included between Charleston Boulevard and South Fifth Street. All frontage on the west side of the Main Street to a depth of one hundred fifty feet (150'( and included between the
