    The Commission considered the application of A1 Bramlet for a Use Permit to authorize the operation of a Health Club to be known as Las Vegas Baths, Inc. in the Culinary Workers Union Building at 114 New York Street. This appli­cation was recommended for approval by the Board of Adjustment. His Honor asked if there were any objections to this Use Permit. None were voiced. Commissioner Fountain moved the recommendation of the Board of Adjustment be ac­cepted and the following resolution adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, in a recessed regular meeting on the 28th day of March, 1356, having considered the application of A1 Bramlet for a use permit to operate a health club at 114 New York Street; and The Board having considered the recommendation of the Board of Adjustment ap­proving this application; NOW, THEREFORE, it is the decision of this Board that the application of Al Bramlet for a use permit to operate a health club in the Culinary Workers Union Building at 114 New York Street be and the same hereby is approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Com- missioner Sharp passed his vote. Commissioner Fountain moved the following applications for renewal of licenses be approved. City Manager A.H. Kennedy reported that the attorney for Mr. Louis DuBois had con- tacted him and stated that Mr. DuBois is willing to sell land to the city for the right-of-way for Baltimore Avenue adjoining South 5th Street. Commissioner Sharp moved the City Attorney and City Manager be authorized to nego­tiate with Mr. DuBois and obtain this property at the best possible price. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker,Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Fountain moved the application of Elmer Mueller for a package liquor and beer bar license for the Fremont Liquor Store, 1130 Fremont be deferred un­til next meeting. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Sharp, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved the application of Jack M. Foy for a club liquor license for the Musicians Union, l6ll Fremont be approved.
