    Commissioner Bunker moved the request of Thomas Gay Myers for an exten­sion of 6 months to install sidewalks in front of Lot 2, Block 1, South 5th Street Tract he granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the request of Elmer Mikkelsen and Betty Douglas Wilson for a 60 day extension of time on the installation of sidewalks at the intersection of South 5th and South Main Streets, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker,Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved the work of Longley Construction Company on Schedule D of the Trunk Sewers be accepted and their bond released. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved the improvements in Charleston Heights Tract Nos. 1 and 2 be accepted and the performance bonds on these tracts released. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker,Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the City Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids for Stage 1 of the construction of Washington Avenue from 5th to 25th Street. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain,Sharp and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple passed his vote. Commissioner Sharp moved the City Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of the fire alarm building. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved teh City Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of the Outfall Sewer line, said bids to be opened March 7; 1956. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved that Payroll Warrants Nos. 10320 to 10801 inclusive in the net amount of $68,016.35 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved that Service and Material Warrant Nos. 5559 to 5694 in the total amount of $39,170.56 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain,Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the Minutes of January 18 and 23, 1956 be ap­proved by reference and the Mayor and Clerk Authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Will Max Schwartz for a beer license at The Little Joint, 1602 South A Street and the application of Harry Herst for a beer license at the Sauc-E-Pig Drive Inn, 2111 E . Fremont be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Merv Adelson for a Limited Retail Liquor license at Market Town, 22 E. Oakey be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the fallowing vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, non. After next paragraph. Commissioner Sharp moved the application of the Boulder Club to add part­ners to the liquor and gaming licenses be held until the next meeting.
