Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance on the General Obligation Bond Issue requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Fountain and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the Liquor Ordinance requested additional time before reporting. Mr. Charles Nolda appeared before the Commission at this time and objected to the proposed ordinance on Collection Agencies. He stated that he did not like the provision that requires the agents to be investigated by the Police Department. Thereafter Commissioners Bunker and Fountain, committee for report on this proposed ordinance requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Sharp and Fountain, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance to adopt the 1955 Plumbing Code requested additional time before reporting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Bunker and Sharp for recommendation.
