    Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance on the General Obligation Bond Issue requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Fountain and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the Liquor Ordinance requested additional time before reporting. Mr. Charles Nolda appeared before the Commission at this time and objected to the proposed ordinance on Collection Agencies. He stated that he did not like the pro­vision that requires the agents to be investigated by the Police Department. Thereafter Commissioners Bunker and Fountain, committee for report on this pro­posed ordinance requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Sharp and Fountain, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance to adopt the 1955 Plumbing Code requested additional time before re­porting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP, was read by title and re­ferred to Commissioners Bunker and Sharp for recommendation. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO, AND MAKING A PART OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED TERRITORY ADJOINING AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; DECLARING SAID TERRITORY AND INHABI­TANTS TO BE ANNEXED THERETO AND SUBJECT TO ALL LAWS AND ORDINANCES; ORDERING A PLAT SHOWING SAID TERRITORY TO BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF THE COUNTY OF CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RE­LATED THERETO, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Fountain and Whipple for recommendation. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN INVESTIGATION FEE PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF GAMING AND LIQUOR LICENSES; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Sharp and Fountain for recommendation. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE KNOWN AS ORDINANCE NO. 676 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE IN THE EVENT OF SECOND INSPECTIONS REQUIRED; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Sharp and Fountain for recommenda­tion. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REMOVAL OF MEMBERS OF AP­POINTIVE BOARDS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDING OF MINUTES OF BOARD ACTIONS AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Sharp and Whipple for recommendation. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24, SECTION 26, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, AS AMENDED, CHANGING THE MINIMUM BUILDING LINE SETBACKS AND STREET WIDTH LINES, ON A PORTION OF MAIN STREET; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Bunker and Fountain for recommendation. There being no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Sharp moved this meeting recess until December 9; 1955 at 5:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker.
