RESOLUTION ACCEPTING R/W Deed Maryland Parkway On motion of Commissioner Whipple, duly seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried unanimously the following Resolution is adopted and order made: #322 R E S O L U T I O N BE IT RESOLVED, this 20th day of August, 1952, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed dated the 15th day of August, 1952, executed by the Southridge Development Co. Inc., to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State Nevada, and filed in the records of this Board. ORDINANCE NO. 505 Narcotics An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THe COMMITMENT AND TREATMENT OF NON*MEDICAL DRUG ADDICTS, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 505 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent:Commissioner Bunker. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Liquor Commissioner Whipple, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the liquor ordinance requested additional time before reporting. PROPUSeD ORDINANCE Trailer Courts Commissioners Peccole and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed Trailer Court ordinance requested additional time before reporting. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Traffic Commissioner Jarrett, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the Traffic Ordinance requested additional time before reporting. DESERT SNACK BAR Restaurant Beverage License At this time the investigation of the Police Department on Fred and Georgana Broadbent, applicants for a Restaurant Beverage license at the Desert Snack Bar, 222 North Main Street was presented to the Board for consideration. This report revealed that Mr. and Mrs. Broad-bent are not registered Voters in the State of Nevada. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved the Clerk notify Mr. and Mrs. Broadbent that since they do not meet the requirements for a liquor license, that they discontinue the sale of beer immediately. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote;Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent Commissioner Bunker. POLICE DEPARTMENT Reports The reports from the Police Department on J. Frank Edds, lessee of the "21" game and Crap Table at the Frontier Club, and interest holders in the Pioneer Club, were ordered filed.
