292 GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of M. B. Hicks & H.C. Badger, Club Savoy Club Savoy, 116 Fremont for one additional roulette wheel for the third quarter of 1948 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Clark. PROPOSED REAL ESTATE BROKERS The committee composed of Commissioners Moore and Whipple on the proposed real ordinance estate brokers and salesmen ordinance asked for additional time before reporting. RELOCATION OF SIDEWALK - Commissioner Whipple moved that the following recommendation of the Planning Desert Plaza Commission dated September 8, 1948 relative to the relocation of sidewalk, Harold Stocker Desert Plaza, be approved: OFFICE OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION September 8, 1948 Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners War Memorial Building Las Vegas, Nevada Re: Relocation of Sidewalk Desert Plaza Gentlemen: At a regular meeting of the Joint Planning Commission held August 31, 1948, Mr. Harold Stocker appeared and asked permission to relocate the sidewalk as approved on his original plot plan for Desert Plaza. Mr. Stocker proposed the elimination of a planting strip with the construction of a six (6) foot sidewalk directly in back of the curb. After a general discussion and consideration of all data, the Planning Commission recommended that this proposed sidewalk be approved.
