I played the Trumpet in the Band, performed in Concerts, and have been involved in various school activities. I am very fortunate to have come from such a wonderful family. I have real nice parents, my Mom- Linda, and my Dad-Steve, an Orthodontist. I have two loving (sometimes) brothers, Danny and Dougie. Also living in Las Vegas and very close to me are my Dear Grandparents, Dr. Joseph and Irene Chenin, and part of my religious upbringing in Las Vegas are my Great Aunt and Uncle, Fern and Simon Chenin and my cousins, Alan Chenin, the Frankls, and the Webbs. Robbie Worth is one of my best friends and his family is very special to me as well. I enjoy collecting Baseball cards, Surfing, Fishing, Camping and Hunting. My Bar Mitzvah will be shared with Daniel Feygin from the Soviet Union, as he has been denied his religious freedom and will become a Bar Mitzvah in spirit along with me. fjozl fylcUncui Hi! My name is Joel Feldman. I will become a Bar Mitzvah on August eighteenth. In the fall I will start the eighth grade at Woodbury Junior High School. At Woodbury I participate in the band, baseball card club, and the Woodbury chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. In the band I play the trombone. Also, I enjoy playing tennis. I will look for?ward to seeing you all at my Bar Mitzvah. Golden Chai News Dear Seniors, Hope you are all enjoying yourselves this summer, but try to keep cool. I have lots of exciting events to tell all of you about. First, let me say that I was very pleased to see a group of members playing cards. I really hope more of you get involved in various games. Socializing is so nice and keeps you cool indoors. There are many seniors who want to make acquain?tances and Golden Chai seniors is the place to find it. On September 14th we will have our annual picnic in the park. We will discuss this at the next meeting. On September 21st our Rabbi will speak on the background of Reform Judaism. There will be a question and answer period. On Friday, October 6th, Golden Chai will sponser an Oneg Shabbat in our temple. We will need volunteers to help, also to bake or buy cakes, cookies and other goodies. We want it to be just beautiful. On December 14th we will have a Chanukah party in our social hall. A committee will be formed to make this a super event. Please attend all of our meetings. You will enjoy all of them. Thank you!
