PAGE 1 <br> <br> <br> Celebrations in Whole Empire <br> <br> <br> VIENNA, Thursday - The heads of the princely houses of Germany, led by Kaiser Wilhelm, have assembled in Vienna to present their congratulations to Emperor Franz Josef on the occasion of the diamond Jubilee of his reign as Emperor-King of Austria-Hungaria and to inaugurate a series of festivities with which the jubilee is to be celebrated throughout the dual monarchy. <br> <br> <br> It is a long time since Vienna has seen such a gathering of sovereigns and Princes as greeted Emperor Franz Josef to-day. Headed by the German Kaiser and his family, the list includes Prince Leopold, the regent of Bavaria; the King of Saxony, the King of Wurtemburg, the Grand Duke of Baden, the Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar, the Grand Duke of Oldenburg, the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Duke Frederick of Anhalt, Prince Leopold IV of Lippe, and Prince George of Schaumburg-Lippe. <br> <br> <br> Two Hundred and fifty guests assembled at a gala banquet given in Schonbrunn Palace this evening. The banquet was served in three communicating apartments. Emperor Franz Josef sat at centre table, with the Kaiserin at his right hand and Kaiser Wilhelm at his left hand. The scene was a brilliant one, the majority of the guests wearing many orders.
