I agree.Hardly a day goes by that we are not asked: “Is this the place that used to be in the ‘little old house’ on Las Vegas Boulevard North?”...or, “is this the restaurant that used to be in the country off Tropicana Road across from the University?”...or, “across from the Stardust on Convention Hall Road?” or, “on the strip past Tropicana Hotel?”

The answer to all four questions is yes. The original Alpine Village Inn was started in 1950 in a “little old house” on Las Vegas Blvd. North. We were forced to find larger quarters and in 1953 moved to Paradise Valley on Maryland Parkway.

We acquired a new location across from the Stardust in 1959 and operated there until we were completely destroyed by fire in July 1961.

We were unable to secure suitable quarters until April of 1963 at which time we opened on Las Vegas Boulevard South.

In 1970 we opened our present location at 3003 South Paradise Road (across from the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel) with additional facilities which include a Rathskeller, Dining Room, Bar, and Gift Shop.

It is our constant endeavor to provide better food and service. Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.
