3 back at the Vegas about the 18th and can then do the work with my assistance, providing you agree on having it done. If you write Mr. J.T. McWilliams here at Good Springs the letter will be forwarded to him, also let me know at the Vegas ranch. We go from here to Sandy today; tomorrow to Manvel; next day, Searchlight and to the ranch the next. When I expect to let Clippinger go back with the team and go on to St Thomas, Bunkerville, etc. and I will remain at the ranch for further orders- McWilliams and I will go up and see the timber if possible, when he completes his work on land.I think it would be well while we have all the cattle in the pasture to brand all those not now branded and if the fifty that are to be retained by the Stewarts according to agreement are to have the brand vented, this is the best time to do so. I don't like the idea of those people keeping this or any other number of cattle on this range as it gives them rights that they would not have otherwise. I intend to [?] on them relinquishing their right to those 50 head of cattle if I don't succeed in getting 500 besides, otherwise I will see what they can be purchased for and report a copy of this letter has been sent Mr. Whittemore for his information.Respectfully yorus,Wm McDermott
