I agree.5to see everything kept up as it should be.There is a first class man with cattle out here now prospecting that we can get to ride the range and I will talk it over with Bracken and see what is best to do. I believe such a man should now be out riding through the cattle learning where they are getting them accustomed to seeing a man on horseback which has the effect of making them easy to handle when branding time comes which will be in June and July. Besides this there is some danger of having some of the cattle stolen and driven off towards Searchlight and other places. He might also pick out some horses that could be broke to ride or work if there is such in the band.Everything is going along nicely. The weather is quite warm and the big cottonwood trees are fully leafed. We have one little orange tree on the Ranch which now has oranges as large as big beans. It has been neglected heretofor but I will have it taken care of and see what will do.Yours trulyWm McDermott
