The people on the Moapa river raise quite as much of this stuff as we do and I understand are marketing it there and along the Meadow Valley Wash. From here to Moapa is 50 miles over a dry and barren desert where you must have feed and water for your teams. So they have just that much advantage of us on market.Searchlight- (70 miles from here no water on the road) has heretofor been the market but as you know the camp is practically dead now and we cannot sell enough stuff to pay expenses. In face of all this I didn't think it would hurt to have one of your boys look around and see what could be done with our apples in Los Angeles and then I could figure on whether it would pay or not.
