FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS. We require a new 15,000 gallon tank set up in the Upper Canyon, a wind mill and a boiler; they will cost approximately:Tank ................................... .$155 00Freight ................................ 150 00Labor............................... 150 00 $455 00 A windmill............... $80 00Freight...................................... 100 00Labor........................................ 200 00 280 00A boiler.................................... $400 00Freight.............................. 100 00Labor........................................ 75 00 575 00Pipe for side streets....................................... 200 00Labor ................................................ 500 00Jumbo Extension of pipe line............................................................................$2010 00 . . 750 00$2760 00The rapid growth of Goldfield may bring out exigencies not here set forth and require some more.FUTURE FOR WATER. If the district half fulfills the expectations of it, no matter what any probable development by competing operations may produce, water and the Water Company must remain invaluable, and I cannot see less than $100.00 per day income with a comparatively small fixed expense. It may have much greater income.MILLING. Nothing other than the movement for water above described has been done toward a mill. The necessity for one, and more than one, now exists in the district. The ore requires both free milling and the special methods which we have proposed to use. The profits to accrue to milling would have put mills there before this had there been water. The Combination Company are installing a 10 stamp mill and concentration works to work their own ores, and possiby do some custom work. If they do not buy water of us they will pipe in Alkali Springs water. I think they would prefer to buy of us for a year at least.STATEMENT FROM BOOKS, SEPTEMBER 1, 1904.ASSETS.LIABILITIES.First National Bank Albertson Trust Co.
